The Barbara Morley Art Scholarships

In an effort to expose more people in the community to art as a creative outlet, The West Hartford Art League, through a donation from The Barbara Morley Family Foundation, offers scholarships to children and adults based on need and income documentation.

Louis Pollack Art Scholarship

$1,000 scholarships are available to (2) high school seniors in the Greater Hartford Area who will be continuing their education as an art major at an accredited University or Art School in the fall of 2026. The Louis Pollock Art Scholarship was created to honor Louis H. Pollack, a longtime member of the West Hartford Art League, and former teacher at Conard High School, who died in March 1994.

This scholarship is open to 2026 graduating high school seniors in one of the 32 towns that compose the Capital region of Greater Hartford. Applicants should demonstrate both financial need and outstanding visual ability. Please include samples of two of the student’s work with your application.

The deadline for application forms is April 8, 2026. Awards will be given May 13, 2026.
