We offer five, one-week sessions starting the week of June 23
Elementary School student classes are half day from 9am-12pm.
Middle and High School student classes are from 1-4pm.
CAMP: ENTERING GRADES K - 1
Week 1 - Art and Nature
June 23 - June 27, 9am-12pm
Instructor: Caitlin Lee
Students will use inspiration from our natural world to create mixed media projects.
Week 4 - Mysteries of the Deep
July 14 - 18, 9am-12pm
Instructor: Caitlin Lee
Students will explore ocean life while learning about different art styles and mediums, creating their own masterpieces inspired by our oceans.
Week 2 - Welcome to My World No class July 4
June 30 - July 3, 9am-12pm

Students will explore their personal world and create art inspired by subjects such as their community and family.
Week 5 - Create Your Own Story
July 21 - 25, 9am-12pm

Students will use techniques such as drawing, painting and watercolor to create personal works of art that will be made into their own picture books to take home.
Week 3 - Make Art Around the Globe
July 7 - 11, 9am-12pm

Students will explore global art and learn about different cultures. They will explore concepts such as pattern and color using a variety of techniques such as printmaking and collage in age appropriate fun projects .

Week 1 - Drawing & Painting
June 23 - June 27, 9am-12pm

Explore your creativity while learning the basics of drawing and painting! This class will empower students to be inspired by their surroundings and their imaginations while learning about drawing and painting techniques, playing artistic games and diving into art history.
Week 2 - Mixed Media
June 30 - July 3, 9 am-12pm No Class July 4th

Come enjoy a fun filled class using a variety of materials including watercolor, oil pastel, paper and recycled materials. Learn the techniques of the many mixed media artists and create your own work of art!
Week 3 - Fun with Pop Art
July 7 - 11, 9am-12pm
Let’s learn about famous pop artists including Andy Warhol, Lichtenstein and more. We’ll explore new techniques using mediums such as paint, color pencil and clay. This class will have your art popping with color.
Week 4 - Art of Different Cultures
July 14 - 18, 9am-12pm
Instructor: Ellie Lloyd
This class will explore various artists and their techniques throughout the world, including painting, drawing, collage and sculpture. Students will investigate color, pattern and texture using a variety of materials including pencil, tempera paint, watercolor, paper and clay. Students will be encouraged to pursue their ideas and express their own individual style.
Week 5 - Adventures in Painting
July 21 - 25, 9am-12pm

In Adventures in Painting students will learn about various famous artists and create their own work of art based on their own unique style. Come and learn new skills in applying and mixing colors.

Week 1 - Printmaking

This class will explore a variety of fun and creative techniques to introduce students to printmaking. Class will cover relief printing, monotypes, and other methods to mass produce several images they develop in class.
Week 5 - Painting
July 21 - 25, 9-12 noon
Instructor: Amanda Mendoza
This class is for beginning students who would like to explore the medium of painting. A variety of subjects and mediums will be explored including watercolor and acrylic. Students will learn how to start a painting, mix colors and use techniques such as underpainting and color theory.

Week 3- Artist Days
July 7 - 11, 9am-12pm
Instructor: Drew Unikewicz
Take inspiration from important artists of the past and learn from their technique and style. We will learn from Georgia O'Keeffe's enlarged and cropped observational paintings of flowers, Henri Rousseau's colorful jungle scenes, Vincent van Gogh's thick impasto application of paint, Claude Monet's focus on color and natural light, and more. Students will create their own works of art with similar techniques.
Week 4- Creative Drawing and Painting

Visit various cultures around the world right from the art studio! Using a variety of materials including pencil, paint, clay, recycled objects, and more we will travel around the world and creative unique art projects based on different countries traditions and history.
AFTERNOON CAMP: ENTERING MIDDLE SCHOOL + HIGH SCHOOL
Week 1: Cartooning
June 23- June 27, 1 - 4pm Instructor: Sam Ferri
Comics offer a means of storytelling accessible to all skill levels. In this class, students will learn how to draw a variety of characters, have them interact, express emotions, place them in a scene, and most importantly, shape a narrative. Taught by a working cartoonist (MAD Magazine, Time Out NY, The NY Observer, Funny Times and others…), students will engage in fun exercises meant to help them hone their skills, participate in group drawing activities and create their very own finished comics.
Week 2 - Teen Explore Different Mediums

Students will explore the creative process, develop their artistic skills and experiment with a variety of art mediums, including printmaking, pastels and collage.
Weeks 1 & 2 - Teen Wheel Throwing June 23 - July 3, 1 - 4pm No class July 4th

Come find the joy of clay! Students will try their hand at both the potter’s wheel and various handbuilding methods. All pieces will be finished with glazes so you can take your projects home to use and enjoy!
Week 3 - Mosaics July 7 - 11, 1 - 4pm Instructor: Kelly Kelly
Students will design and create their own glass mosaic projects. We will learn the basics of breaking and cutting glass with special mosaic and glass cutting tools, and go over designing, arranging and adhering the glass, as well as grouting and sealing their project.
Week 3 - Intro to Oil Painting
July 7 - 11, 1 - 4pm

This class is for beginning middle school students who would like to explore the medium of oil painting. Students will learn about color, application techniques and composition working from paintings by well known artists.
Week 4 - Stained Glass
July 14 - 18, 1 - 4pm
Instructor: Kelly Kelly
Students will learn the basic techniques of the copper foil method of stained glass craft. We will learn how to use the tools properly, and the entire process of creating and designing a stained glass panel from start to finish. This workshop will allow students to appreciate all the work that is involved in making stained glass artwork, while having fun creating art!
Week 4 - Middle School Drawing
July 14 - 18, 1 - 4pm Instructor: Ellie Lloyd
Students with basic to intermediate skills will improve their drawing techniques in this five day class. Basic drawing skills including contour, value, perspective, shading and composition will be taught. Students will explore a variety of subjects while working with charcoal, pencil, colored pencil and oil pastel.
Week 5 - Teen Watercolor
July 21 - 25, 1 - 4pm Instructor: Ellie Lloyd
Learn the principles of painting with watercolors in this class for all levels of experience. A variety of subjects will be explored all while learning color mixing, brush techniques, washes and underpainting.
